Our Void Housing Team Delivers Exceptional August Performance
In April 2022, Antac began its journey working with VIVO Defence Services and the Ministry of Defence’s (MoD) Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) providing maintenance works for Service Family Accommodation (SFA). Since then, Antac have delivered high-quality void, responsive and projects maintenance services across a portfolio of over 10,000 homes. Supported by a department of 150+ direct workforce, our team refurbishes vacant housing and prepares and maintains properties for our Service Families, helping to improve their accommodation and living standards.

August marked an outstanding milestone for the Void Housing Team, working in partnership with Vivo Defence Services on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. During what is traditionally the busiest period of the year, the team’s collective effort achieved:
- 336 service family move-ins completed
- 240 homes received enhanced redecoration
- 203 homes fitted with brand-new enhanced flooring
This exceptional performance exemplifies the team’s dedication, coordination, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
A Turning Point in Delivery
The Void Housing Team demonstrated extraordinary teamwork and efficiency throughout August. Tackling a high volume of move-ins, on top of managing enhanced redecoration and flooring upgrades, during peak season is no small feat. Yet through streamlined coordination, seamless communication, and sheer hard work, the team exceeded expectations.
Their ability to deliver 240 redecorations and 203 new enhanced floorings not only elevated the standard of homes for Service Families but also ensured a smooth and positive transition for all residents during a hectic timeframe.
