Antac recognises the importance of Traineeships & Apprenticeships to help develop individuals in specific trades and skills.
We actively encourage young people to join our company and provide each individual with a specific development programme. All ‘Trainees’ are exposed to working alongside our trained employees, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, so they can experience the trade first hand.
Flynn joined Antac in November 2019, he had joined a local builder following a year at college completing Bench Joinery Level 1. Unfortunately, he was made redundant and applied for the apprenticeship job at Antac working on the MoD in London with the projects team. The majority of his work was installing fire doors, bathroom refurbishment, general joinery jobs. Flynn continued to work through covid and completed Level 2.
Over the last few years, Flynn has gained experience working in a variety of environments including void properties, hospitals, university and barracks. He has now completed his Level 3 NVQ & Diploma in Carpentry and is a valued member of the team.

Over the 2 years that I have been working at Antac, I have taken on projects I never thought I could ever achieve. I have been given access to a vast range of knowledge from many senior surveyors and rather than being sat in a classroom, I’ve been thrown into a real life work space and have had to adapt in a way that a classroom could never teach. Antac have given me a great opportunity to learn new skills and get a qualification in a trade I was interested in from a young age. Throughout my time here, I have been given the support I needed to progress and expand my knowledge and have become more independent.
