Antac were instructed to provide a new upgraded cooling system for a server room at a leading telecoms company in Sunbury, London. A history of air conditioning equipment failures had led to server shutdowns, thereby halting company working operations on several occasions. Resultant room extension requirements necessitated an increased cooling capacity of a further 50% with new air handling units (AHU’s), thus enabling the company to accommodate more servers. During the installation minimal disruption was achieved through the supply of temporary cooling units.
Notably, the AHUs were energy efficient with humidity controls in place and a bespoke BMS system was designed within the server room to allow the client to both monitor the operation of the equipment remotely as well as receive any alarms for each unit
