In April 2022, Antac began its journey with VIVO Defence Services and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) on providing maintenance work for Service Family Accommodation (SFA), in parts of the South West. Antac is set to play its part in improving the accommodation of the Armed forces and their families, refurbishing void housing.
In 2021, VIVO Defence Services were awarded contracts to provide repairs and maintenance work for SFA in the South West and South East regions. Over the next 7 years, VIVO will be looking after more than 27,000 homes across both regions, which we are thrilled to be a part of.
DIO increased the specification of the properties for the new housing contract with VIVO Defence Services. It has seen improvements to the housing, for the benefit of service families; each property is inspected following strict criteria before a service family move in.
Antac proudly supports those who serve and those who are a part of the Armed Forces Community. Due to the nature of our business, providing services to the MoD and being an advocate of the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme, for which we have received the Silver Award, we are delighted to be working on such a brilliant programme to help deliver improved accommodation maintenance services for the UK’s service personnel and their families.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the first few months of the contract and look forward to continuing working with VIVO, DIO, Families and Employees to deliver a service that allows our Armed Forces to thrive.
