Antac are delighted to deliver high quality office cleaning services to Softcat (a leading provider of IT infrastructure) who topped the large company category award as “best workplace in the UK” presented by Great Place to Work® UK as a sustainable great workplace with a high-trust culture. Antac were initially approached by Softcat to provide a one off deep clean in their canteen and kitchen area. The floor had been neglected and in desperate need of attention. Our mobile team took to task at their Head Offices in Marlow housing over 400 staff, and the results and feedback were so impressive that we were invited back to discuss the cleaning contract which we were happily awarded.
The incumbent company had been struggling to provide staff, holiday and sickness cover and what was perceived as poor managerial support. From day one, Antac retrained the staff, recruited further to back fill the short fall and increased the hourly rate to incentivise performance. Louise Watts, Cleaning Director, took an active role managing the contract and a new supervisor was implemented. Natalie Corporate Travel & Facilities Co-ordinator said ‘I have been really pleased with the changes; from day one there were significant improvements which benefitted all staff at Head Office.
