As an independent service provider, Antac has many branches to its organisation. We are mostly known for our Building Maintenance & Projects Divisions (Mechanical & Electrical, MOD Maintenance & Projects, Building Services) due to our works within the Government & Healthcare industries.
Antac’s Mechanical & Electrical Division provides a single-source solution for the design, installation and commissioning of plant replacement and upgrade projects. We work to ensure each project is delivered to specification, on time and that the long-term solution is fit for purpose. We specialise in commercial planned preventative maintenance (PPM) providing full mechanical and electrical support through our team of fully qualified, experienced engineers.
Our employees are our most important asset, and their personal Health & Safety is of paramount importance. With this at the core of all we do, all our employees receive a rigorous training programme including company induction, familiarization of risk assessment and method statements, COSHH and working at heights.
All ‘Trainees’ are exposed to working alongside our trained employees, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry, so they can gain the experience first-hand. As a company we ensure all our engineers have the required qualifications, so they are fully equipped to deliver their jobs to the best of their abilities, in the safest way possible.
Jared (centre of image) joined Antac in 2019 after a few years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter, and shortly after started his gas diploma. Despite setbacks due to the pandemic, Jared was able to submit his gas portfolio and passed his ACS assessments this year. We are delighted to announce Jared is now a qualified Gas Safe Domestic Gas Engineer and will be sitting his commercial changeover course in the next few months.
Pete (right of image) has over 30 years’ experience and is a fully qualified Gas Engineer, working across our core maintenance and project division. Pete is an established and valued member of our team, having worked with Antac for over 5 years, and has been a great mentor to Jared and the wider team throughout his portfolio.
Khan (left of image) completed an apprenticeship in Heating & Ventilation and after gaining industry experience, he joined the Antac Mechanical team in January 2021. Khan will now go on to start his Gas Diploma this month, following in the same footsteps as Jared. Pete and Jared will both pass on their knowledge and mentor Khan through his diploma.
