On Thursday 5th August, Antac took part in a Community Day for the Farnham Sea Cadets.
The project brief, set by Amey’s Secure Infrastructure executive team was a minor refurbishment of a Sea Cadet Centre in Farnham requiring support of some of their contractors.
The Farnham Sea Cadets Centre support many young individuals ranging from 10 – 18 years old. A variety of skills are taught to within the Sea Cadets, equipping young people with the resilience, self-belief and social confidence that they need to make a decent life for themselves.
Antac were extremely proud to have been able to contribute and get involved in the community day at Farnham.
An example of items that were donated are as follows:
- TV & Bracket
- Football Table
- Lockers
- Units
- Painting of Centre rooms
- Painting of sleepers
- Jet washing
The Sea Cadets is all about trying to make young people’s lives enhanced so they can grow into a better future.
An excellent day of hard work, teamwork and enjoyment for everyone involved!
