Antac Support Services have recently appointed Quincy Myers-John as Health & Safety manager.
Successful management of our suppliers and third parties has been identified as a key component in meeting our company safety objectives. By effectively managing the life cycle of our suppliers and contractors, we will ensure excellent health and safety and environmental standards are achieved and maintained in-line with our existing ISO accreditations and current legislation.
Therefore a review of Antac’s existing “Control of Contractors / Suppliers Policy” along with a review of our entire Tier 1 suppliers / contractors has assured these necessary standards are met and upheld in order to remain an Antac Approved Supplier.
The significant policy and process changes secure:
- A thorough pre-qualification is completed, (focusing on Safety, Health and Environmental requirements)
- That suitable and sufficient management of our contractors at site level is undertaken
- The efficient and effective exchange of site & task specific information between Antac and our suppliers
- That suppliers’ site activities are monitored, using “Work In Progress” inspections and audits
- That annual contractor/ supplier performance reviews are completed
